Seasoning is really pretty simple
Wipe down your cast iron skillet with an edible oil of choice (olive oil, vegetable oil, canola oil, flaxseed oil). Then bake the pan in a hot oven... keeping the pan in there while the oven cools.
As the pan bakes, the oil smokes and creates a natural non-stick layer on the iron. The more layers you bake on the better!
There's no witchcraft involved in seasoning... it's easy, peasy!
AND, it'll provide you cookware that lasts generations!
N.B. Don't overheat the pan... no food and pan are non-stick if overheated!
